NEI is a learner-centered continuing medical education website dedicated to providing high quality, visually engaging, evidence-based activities designed to help increase the competence of health care professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and neurologic disease states.  The organization also developed two mobile apps:  NEI Prescribe and NEI Learn.

An important component of NONPF's Independent Practice Competencies includes the APRNs commitment to demonstrating "the highest level of accountability for professional practice."  This includes expanding our knowledge through continuing education, engagement in online activities, and regular attendance at professional conferences- such as those offered through NEI.
